Portuguese Language Day event at the University of Nyíregyháza
The event was jointly organised by the University and the Angolan Embassy, as a result of a long-standing relationship. The event aims to promote Angolan culture and the Portuguese language.

The international partnerships of the University of Nyíregyháza have been further extended.
On Monday, 27 November 2023, representatives of the Zaozhuang University of China visited the institution, where they discussed future cooperation opportunities with the leaders of the university. During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed.
On the 20th of November 2023, the SH Welcome Event and Award Ceremony for the Stipendium Hungaricum Student Excellence Award was held in Budapest. The event started with a warm welcome by Miklós Lengyel, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

On the 24th of October, the University of Nyíregyháza and the university's management officially welcomed all the international students at an international welcome event. The event took place at the University's Great Lecture Hall of Building B, where Dr. György Szabó, Rector of the University of Nyíregyháza officially welcomed all the international students.
