Nearly forty international students took part in the University of Nyíregyháza’s traditional sightseeing tour on September 9, led by Dr. Kálmán Kiss, lecturer at the Institute of Languages and Literature.
Starting from the university, participants discovered Nyíregyháza’s historical and cultural landmarks as they walked from Heroes’ Square through the cultural quarter to the city center. Along the way, the students heard fascinating stories about the city’s past and its landmarks. To round off the pleasant program, they were treated to a refreshing lemonade on the main square. The event was supported by the staff of the International Relations Office, who each year ensure that foreign students can get closer to the city’s cultural treasures.
